5 Min. Fest. at the Stockwell Theatre – An American Romance

Debbie Bridge is performing this short play as part of the Five Minute Festival at the Stockwell Playhouse in London.

Dates: December 14th for the 1st round, if we get past the 1st round, then another round is added on December 16th.

About the Show

We live in an age when no-one has time.
Average viewers spend between 3 and 7 minutes on an internet video.
Advertisers get whole stories into 30 seconds.
Reduced Shakespeare squeezed the bard’s works into 70 minutes.
Hamlet thought brevity the soul of wit and the Japanese that haiku was the highest form of art.

A panel of judges will decide 2 shows to go through to Saturdays Final and 2 will be picked an audience vote!

Debbie has 2 corporate short films and another short film being written for her by Jean Maye (can’t say too much yet, but keep your eyes on this page for an update!

Debbie Bridge in the Treason Show

Debbie Bridge will be jumping into the Treason Show for the 1st time on November 17/18 & 23rd. If you like a bit of comedy and singing, then come out and support Debbie for this well established satirical Brighton based comedy show.

Dates: November 17/18 & 23rd (the 23rd is at the Rope Tackle in Shoreham)

About the Show

The Treason Show – Brighton’s legendary satirical comedy show now in it’s record breaking 17th year. Founded by artistic director, Mark Brailsford in 2000, the show ran for nine years at Komedia Brighton before setting up shop at the Brighton Dome Pavilion.

The show is now regularly based at the prestigious Old Market, in Brighton & Hove and the Ropetackle, Shoreham. The show also tours with recent touring versions touring Sussex and intermittently, Berlin at The Kookaburra Comedy Club.

Written by a team of over 40 writers and performed by a team of multi-talented sketch performers, The Treason Show continues to wow it’s audiences with its fast-moving, gag-a-minute sketch show which since the show’s premier in June 2000, has become a Brighton institution.

Practice Monologues

Me in rehearsals for Midsummer Madness

This is a monthly event where you can practice those pesky monologues in a friendly, supportive and fun environment. Just bring along a monologue.

This is set up so you try to do it monthly or whenever you can.

It’s run like a mock audition, so this isn’t a feedback or class situation. Just an opportunity to get up and practise with others.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time to sort out order of participants.

The day will introduce you to the Meisner Acting Technique and a series of exercises which can help to learn more about yourself and build your confidence in everyday life situations and acting in a fun, friendly and supportive environment.
