Find Your Inner Cabaret Star/Cablab Darlings Cabaret
🪶 This course is for anyone who enjoys the cabaret style of entertainment, wants to know more about it and to try it out for themselves. We will be having a final performance where I’ll be hosting as Madame Dee Bee Deevine – check out the details below.
No experience of performing is necessary or knowledge of cabaret.
Course Content
The course content is centred around the cabaret form, its history and how to do it yourself.
There are 1 workshop and a final performance – CabLab Darlings. The workshops have been held monthly and open to joining in when you can.
Workshop: Saturday 31st May/10-12 – Ways to get work and promote yourself in the cabaret world in the U.K. as well as a dress rehearsal for the final performance.
CabLab Darlings Cabaret – this is your chance to shine alongside professionals from the cabaret scene in London. There will be up to 5 min solo slot.
I’ll be hosting this evening as Madame Dee Bee Deevine! Final performance is for friends & family – tickets will be available for free to each participant. We will have some professional performers joining us at this show.

From Grit to Glitter: Her-story of Cabaret (Talk)
🎤I started to do Cabaret myself because it’s a genre which affords so many styles and entertainment. It’s so versatile in it’s approach and has a very strong past which is still impacting the world today.
In this talk I take you around the world and through some of the history of how and why Cabaret started and why it’s still very much alive today in these tough times.
It’s a great way to see and hear about this often misunderstood form of performance. Oh, I might just sing a song or 2.

🎤A surfer, world traveler, collector, archaeologist, and singer – these aren’t the 1st descriptions which come to mind when we think of Agatha Christie. She was all these things and so much more!
This talk is about the whole person of Agatha Christie and not just the writer.
My desire is to help inspire and inform others about this remarkable woman.
I hope you leave the talk knowing more than you did before and inspired to go and be more Agatha in your own lives!
